Criminal Investigations

The Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for investigating serious crimes reported throughout Choctaw County, Oklahoma. Investigators work closely with patrol deputies, local law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and state and federal partners to identify offenders, gather evidence, and help bring criminal cases to a successful resolution.

Cases We Investigate

The Criminal Investigations Division may investigate a wide range of offenses, including

  • Assaults and other violent crimes
  • Burglaries and thefts
  • Robberies
  • Fraud, forgery, and financial crimes
  • Crimes against children
  • Domestic violence cases
  • Sexual assaults
  • Missing persons
  • Property crimes
  • Internet and technology-related crimes
  • Other felony and complex criminal investigations

Investigators may also assist outside law enforcement agencies when a case crosses jurisdictional boundaries or requires additional resources.
